Dachny rhubarb is characterized by its early ripening period and is most often sold under the Gavrish brand. This perennial plant does not flower and is intended for cultivation in open beds. In northern regions, gardeners successfully plant and harvest it in greenhouses.

Dachny rhubarb was registered with the State Commission for Variety Selection of the Russian Federation under application number 76870 and received official recognition on November 27, 2018. In 2019, this variety was officially approved for use. Dachny rhubarb can be cultivated in any region of the country.

Description of the plant
The perennial Dacha is characterized by a semi-upright rosette of large, ovoid leaves. The leaf blades are slightly bubbly, a beautiful green hue, and have very wavy edges.
The petioles are slightly ribbed, medium-thick, and also green. However, anthocyanin pigmentation, cherry-raspberry, is present throughout the surface. The flesh is juicy, and the weight of a single petiole ranges from 80 to 180 g.
Characteristics
This rhubarb variety is suitable for regular harvesting. It yields 4 to 8.9 kg of petioles per square meter. It is ideal for fresh and canned use. It is ideal for making jams, kissels, candied fruits, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and other culinary products.
