Natalia - carrot variety, developed by the Dutch company Syngenta Seeds BV and officially approved for cultivation in 2006. The hybrid is a modification of the popular Dutch Nantes carrot and, according to producers, has the best flavor of all representatives of this variety. But Natalia's appeal goes beyond that.
Key Features
Among carrot varieties, special attention is paid to the Nantes variety, bred in 1943 and since then spawning numerous subvarieties with similar characteristics. One of these is the Natalia F1 carrot.
- ✓ The soil should be light, with a high oxygen content, without an excess of organic fertilizers.
- ✓ Watering should be moderate, avoiding both drought and excessive moisture.
Its characteristic features:
- Excellent for fresh consumption, canning, freezing, and making bunches and juice.
- Natalia is a mid-early hybrid, with a maturity time of up to 120–135 days. The exact timeframe depends on the region, weather, and growing conditions.
- It is distinguished by abundant fruiting—395-405 centners per hectare—with high product quality (92-99%). This makes it one of the most sought-after hybrids for home gardening and farming.
- The long maturation time in the soil provides Natalia with resistance to long-term storage, allowing vegetables to be used almost until spring.

Key points of hybrid cultivation
The Natalia F1 carrot variety is cultivated similarly to other varieties of this vegetable. It prefers light, oxygen-rich soils. Carrots do not tolerate an excess of organic matter, especially manure. If the soil contains too many of these components, the expected harvest may be less impressive, and the fruits themselves will be uneven.
Reviews
Although the Natalia hybrid is no longer a novelty, it remains popular among gardeners. Numerous positive reviews can be found online. If you follow proper cultivation practices, Natalia promises a bountiful harvest, with fruits that grow smooth and sweet, rich in color and carotene.
