Happy Captain is another one of my newcomers this year (2020).
The following information is available on the internet: this is a mid-season, medium-yielding, tall indent variety - 1.8 m tall, with potato-shaped leaves, flat-round fruits, weighing 150-250 grams, green-yellow-pink, juicy with a light fruity taste.
I had two seedling bushes - weak ones, but when the time came to plant them, they grew and got stronger.
I planted one in the greenhouse. The bush is neat, with large, dark green leaves. Mine grew to a low bush of about one and a half meters.
There were a lot of flowers, all the fruits set well, the flowers did not fall off.
Most of the fruits are large, beautiful, and yellowish-green in color.
There are 4-5 pieces per cluster. They began to ripen in early August.
Some tomatoes in the greenhouse cracked, but outside all the fruits were whole, even though it had been raining heavily.
The tomatoes tasted sweet and juicy, and everyone really liked them.
When cut they look like this: the flesh is green-yellow, and at the bottom there is a bright crimson spot.
And what a wonderful salad you get from Happy Captain with arugula, basil, cilantro and garlic, and with aromatic sunflower oil!
The second bush, a weaker one, was planted in open ground. But it also performed well. The bush is taller outdoors than in the greenhouse, but I pinched the top in early August to speed up the ripening of the fruit.
There are also a lot of fruits, the tomatoes at the bottom are smaller than the ones at the top, there are 3-4 pieces in a bunch.
The Happy Captain isn't ripe yet outside. It's already mid-August, so maybe the tomatoes will turn red. The weather is summery, sunny and warm, but if it gets colder, we'll be picking the green tomatoes.
I'll definitely be planting the Happy Captain tomato variety next year; I shared the seeds with my neighbors at the dacha.

It looks like striped chocolate, I also recommend it.
