I'd like to tell this story about a very kind but wayward cat named Sonya. She looks like a simple, black kitty, but she's special in her own way.
My aunt decided to get a kitten for her daughter's second birthday. She came across a photo of a small black kitten being given away for free in an ad. That same evening, she picked up the little kitten, bought everything she needed at the store, and brought it home.
The daughter was overjoyed. The kitten mistook the little girl for its owner. The kitten grew imperceptibly and transformed into a graceful black cat.
Her name is Sonya. She's already 13 years old. She was born on August 10th. Her mother is a purebred. Her father is unknown. Sonya is reserved, independent, and self-sufficient.
She enjoys being in the company of her owner, as long as the environment doesn't require much activity. She's reserved in open spaces, preferring familiar surroundings.

The cat grew up as her owner did. Now, the owner, a college student, draws a lot from life. Her summer practice assignment was creating a flip calendar. She couldn't resist dedicating a corner of the calendar to her beloved pet.
The cat is now older. Gray hairs have appeared among her black fur. She's less playful, though still willful.
