This year, due to prolonged rains in the fall, as well as a disease, we didn't have time to harvest the cabbage. This is what we had left in the garden:
What hopes we had! We didn't clean it up – there was no point…
The same thing happened with beets, although there was much more of them left:
But they managed to harvest everything else—potatoes, onions, carrots. So, after them, these empty beds were left:
Therefore, we cannot boast of the harvest this year ((( I wonder if anyone has had a similar situation.

It's sad... When I see such beds, I always remember Nekrasov's poem "The Unharvested Strip"
Late autumn. The rooks have flown away.
The forest was bare, the fields were empty.
Only one strip is not compressed,
She brings on sad thoughts.
