My husband has a professional spinning rod, but since I'd decided to start fishing with him, we decided to buy one for myself, too, but something simple and inexpensive. We settled on this versatile, budget-friendly spinning rod:
We bought it on Ozon for literally 800 rubles. Of course, my husband said it would most likely be some kind of junk with incomplete components. But according to the manufacturer, it's like this:
Now let's see what we got:
As for the quality, my husband said it's quite decent. Even the gel-rubber lures have a distinctive smell. When we tried hooking them, it proved problematic. Therefore, it's unlikely a pike will tear them apart on the first try.
I was also surprised that all the elements on the spoon were very well secured – nothing would fall off:
But the fishing line on the float was disappointing – it was of poor quality.
The rod itself is light and well made.
The reel is heavier than stated, but the quality is pleasing.
My husband has already tried the spinning rod himself and was very pleased. So, I highly recommend it to beginners!

Why are there two hooks on the float? I also find it inconvenient: the second hook will snag, and if the line is weak, it will simply break off with the catch!
But you can catch 2 fish at once.
When I'm fishing for crucian carp with two rods (meaning two hooks), if one catches, the other will take a few minutes to catch. But if I need to land two fish on one float, the line is more likely to break than the second catch, because the first fish will scare the others if left in the water.
Wait, but this is a one-and-a-half, I think. There is a single, there is a double, and then there is a one-and-a-half. It's just one ring.
