For purely home use, and not too often, we decided to buy a budget-friendly semi-professional chainsaw. We chose the DonTech 52-18 model – it was on sale at the time (we ordered it from OZON), so we decided to seize the opportunity.
I'm not particularly knowledgeable about technical specifications, so my husband did the research. Meanwhile, I was checking reviews and can say they were completely contradictory, but mostly positive. So, we bought it. It arrived fully assembled:
The chain was packaged separately in a branded bag:
Small spare parts and all necessary keys too:
The side part for closing the chain was lying separately:
The tire was also in the package:
The instructions are in Russian, but the font is very small.
Fuel tank with measuring cup and description.
Side view:
There's a filter. Overall, the chainsaw is no different from the pictures on websites; it looks like this:
Now about its performance. It cuts great, but the tire cover is a bit small. My husband used it several times, and in that time, he sawed through 3 cubic meters of logs. Usually, all the gasoline and oil was used up, but on one occasion, some remained in the tank. The saw was level, so leaks were ruled out. But one "wonderful" moment, a terrible smell of gasoline appeared in the hallway. My husband started investigating. It turned out that the gasoline had slightly corroded the gasket on the gas cap. Here it is, under the cap:
And this is the gasket itself:
I had to buy a new gasket. But my husband says the problem isn't the gasket, but the crooked hole leading into the tank. He's gotten the hang of tightening it so there's no leaks. Otherwise, no complaints; it's a great chainsaw for the price.

What are the model's pros and cons, weaknesses, etc.? I'm looking for a saw for my dad, so I'm asking real users, not internet bots.
