Low-growing and tall tomatoes – which is better?

I try to plant different varieties of tomatoes, both for canning and salads, and for general variety. This year, I planted the low-growing "Vzryv" and the tall "Nastya-Slastena." The former should grow to a maximum height of 50-60 cm, and the latter to 2 m. I plant all the tomatoes at the same distance in a row, but I keep the distance between the "Nastya-Slastena" and the "Vzryv" twice as wide.

Low-growing varieties are popular because they don't require staking, but taller varieties, which require trellises, never bear fruit. They also take up less space, making them easier to loosen, water, feed, and weed.

For the tall variety, I use old metal pipes, stretch wire between them in 3-4 tiers and tie them up:

For tying, I always use flexible wire in a sheath so as not to damage the tomato stems:

There aren't any particular problems with this. Therefore, it's difficult to say for sure which will be easier to grow. But considering that taller varieties are easier to care for (water, etc.) and also easier to harvest, I conclude that they are the better choice, especially for beginners.
