Today I want to tell you about my rabbits, who live in our private house in the Krasnodar region.

Rabbits are such cute and harmless creatures that it's hard to imagine how they could be raised for slaughter. For 1,000 years, these animals have served humans as a valuable source of meat and pelts, and even today, rabbit meat is served in upscale restaurants.
There are also decorative breeds that enjoy a comfortable life and bask in the affection and love of their owners. Rabbits also live in the wild and have even successfully learned to survive in the wild, where danger lurks at every turn.
Description of the rabbit:
- The size is from 20 to 50 cm in length, and the weight is from 400 g to 2 kg.
- Rabbit fur is fluffy, warm, and soft. Its fur is long and soft, and its color ranges from various shades of gray, brown, and yellow, although rabbits with a solid color are not uncommon.
- The ears are long.
- Strong hind legs, with 5 toes on the front paws and 4 on the back paws.
- Life expectancy: from 4-5 to 13-15 years.
Our rabbit's diet
Our bunnies are very clean and well-groomed. I take care of them, feed them fresh grass that I pick from our garden near the house, and at the same time, I help Mom remove any unwanted weeds.
They can eat green grasses, grains, seeds, tubers, leaves, and plant roots. Pet stores sell prepared foods, as well as special treats. Be sure to provide tree branches to help the rabbit grind down its teeth.
I also feed them carrots, they love them, and I love listening to the sound of carrots crunching in their teeth. I give my little friends clean water to drink.
I clean the babies' cages to ensure their areas are always clean and dry, as it's important for growing rabbits to live in appropriate conditions.
In conclusion
My pets live in cages. My friends often come to visit me; they also love my rabbits and often cuddle them.
Rabbits are often kept as companions for children. However, rabbits are fragile, so children need to be taught how to handle them properly. They should not be pulled by the ears, pulled by the paws, or anything like that. They should only be picked up by supporting them with your hands under the chest and hindquarters.
I love them very much and always look forward to summer so I can spend more time at the dacha with my friends – the rabbits. I wish everyone could find such good friends.
