My pet

I'd like to tell you a little about my pet. Having a pet in your home (or apartment) is truly wonderful. It immediately creates a feeling of comfort.

My pet

Her name is Dasha. But we've all gotten used to calling her "Businka" because she doesn't respond to "Dashka." She's only two years old. She's very playful and mischievous. A real fidget. She also always likes to sleep with me. Sometimes at my feet, sometimes by my side. She doesn't particularly like to sleep with the rest of the family.

My pet

She's a British shorthair. She's also a descendant of the sturdy and powerful Cheshire Cat. A British shorthair isn't the type of pet to be cuddled—she simply won't allow it. She'll likely give you a sign when she's comfortable being petted or caressed.

History of appearance

Dasha came to us quite unexpectedly. We adopted her through an ad. One grandmother decided to move to another city, Tyumen, and couldn't take her with her.

Soon after we picked her up, on March 25, 2021, she was spayed.

Nutrition

We couldn't figure out what she was eating for a long time. It turned out to be easy and simple. She eats everything we eat, especially baked goods. Imagine our surprise when Businka showed a fondness for pickled pineapple and ice cream. She won't leave your side until she's sure everything is eaten.

Peculiarities

Businka, a funny pet:

  • She loves playing with cotton swabs. If we forget to put one away, we'll always find it in a secluded corner of our apartment, or hear the scurrying sounds of our cat playing with her new toy.
  • She doesn't like swimming.
  • As soon as I leave the notebook open, she lies right there on the notebook sheet like her own mistress.
  • Lover of pineapples and baked goods.
  • Loves to play with sun bunnies (runs around the house after them).

My pet

Our whole family loves our cat. What a fluffy little thing we have!
