How good cats are!!!

I had a wonderfully beautiful cat named Pusya with me for a very long time. I don't know her breed, because she was so tiny when we found her that we had to feed her with a pipette. I've never met a kinder and more affectionate cat. This is what she looked like:

But grooming her was difficult, as she had to be brushed daily. And not just daily – twice a day!!! And she had so much fur, you could fill a sock! Luckily, she loved being brushed, and even offered to brush her own side, then the other, as well as her belly, but that was more difficult.

Her favorite food is bread and all kinds of buns, especially if they're dusted with powdered sugar. We even experimented with this – we left a piece of sausage, meat, dry food, fish, and bread on the table. What do you think? To everyone's surprise, she sniffed everything, but she chose bread. How could that be? And here's a photo of her eating a fresh bun with jam. She poured herself some kefir, took out a bun, took a couple of bites, and then remembered there was some fried vegetables frying in the kitchen. When she returned, she saw this:

One time, I came home from work, from the night shift, put some beets on to boil for a vinaigrette, lay down on the edge of the couch, turned on the TV, and... of course, fell asleep. I woke up to Pusya meowing loudly, which is completely unusual for her, and swatting me in the face with her paw. As it turned out, another five minutes and the bottom of the pot would have burned. She woke me up just when there were just a few millimeters of water left at the bottom. You have to be so aware of danger!
